Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm for Prime Video. It is our role to develop and produce original content for our global Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights.

We are seeking an intern to help scale our business operating model (people, processes, technology, business insights) globally. Over the past 18-months, the Prime Video and Studios organizations have grown considerably and are working together in close partnership. To strengthen this partnership, it is critical to share information needs across each organization including business priorities, metrics and operational progress. The objective of this role is to recommend a communication program that identifies mechanisms at a global and regional level to meet the information sharing needs of Studios and Prime Video leadership.

Key job responsibilities

• Identifying and prioritizing the business and operational communication needs across Prime Video/Studios leadership through a series of interviews.
• Researching best practices to structure and deliver leadership information needs
• Developing a program with defined mechanisms to meet these information sharing needs and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

A best fit candidate will desire broad exposure into the business of a Studio from strategy through to financial management and operations.

Basic qualifications include:

1. MBA student with an emphasis on leadership and management
2.. Project leadership experience defining scope, approach and timelines to delivery completion.
3.. Research experience into best practices to apply theory into real-world recommendations.
4. Analytical experience capturing a current state of operating, identifying gaps where the current state does not meet organizational needs and defining improvement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills to ask insightful questions, understand the “why” behind information needs and document a clear recommendation.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $40.43/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
