Role Summary
As a member of the Product Strategy team, you will play an active role in driving decisions to define Rivian’s consumer product roadmap. You will perform data-driven analyses to generate insights, create solutions to complex problems, and collaborate with cross-functional leads to build consensus among senior management and support execution of our long-term plan.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research and competitive analyses
Generate actionable product recommendations with business case support
Develop financial and operational models including scenario evaluations
Support wider organization with insights and forecasts for our broader industry
Inform pricing, mix, feature content, and bundling strategy for existing and future vehicles
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop digital and physical customer product options
Communicate and present recommendations to senior leadership
Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus)
4-6 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, and/or other related fields
Experience and/or passion for automotive/mobility/transportation highly preferred
Proven ability to synthesize multiple complex inputs to produce clear recommendations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent financial modeling skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience working with large databases is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Travel rate: 10%
Salary Range for California-Based Applicants: $135,000.00 – $155,000.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental, and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
